Privacy Policy

Data collection
WindowSnap does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. There is no WindowSnap account, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, telemetry service, or cloud sync.
Accessibility permission
WindowSnap requests macOS Accessibility permission for one reason: to read and set the position and size of the window you choose to snap, using Apple's Accessibility API. It does not read window contents, keystrokes, clipboard data, or any other app's data.
Local only
All snapping happens locally on your Mac. WindowSnap does not send window information, screenshots, hotkey activity, or usage data anywhere.
Third parties
WindowSnap does not share data with Apple or any other party beyond the standard macOS Accessibility permission prompt itself. WindowSnap is currently free and direct-distributed, with no in-app purchases or license servers involved.
Changes
If WindowSnap's data practices change, this policy will be updated before the changed version is released.
Contact
WindowSnap is a pre-release, pre-registration project with no dedicated support address yet. Check the project repository for the latest contact details.
